I am absolutely in love with this house. It's beautiful and forlorn.

And I want to combine these two gardens, with all the spiky, fragrant lavender, and the sweet seclusion of the stone walled sanctuary.

I want this lovely waterfall somewhere nearby where I can go to dream.
O house o' dreams, how sweet you are.

Winds of Change

Barack Obama. Democrat. Biracial man. President of the United States; Elected by his message of hope, his promises of change. The Goddess smiled down on election day, and America is on its way to no longer being the most hated country in the world.

And while I admit, that for a Republican, McCain would have been much better than Bush ever could have imagined being, I still threw my support towards Obama, from encouraging all the freshly legal voters at work to a "Vote for Hope, Obama '08" banner on my myspace. Still, McCain gave a very gracious concession speech, and both parties ran a relatively clean race.

I found it!

There was a flower that used to bloom in the fernery...I never could figure out what it was, only that it smelled better than anything in the world!

Allamanda. Lovely. One day, when I have my house o' dreams, it will have the fences around it crawling in this stuff.

Broken by the occasional red, red rose tree.

And, of course, some orange tiger lilies for my daughter....

Hmm or maybe daylilies, so they still smell pretty like the rest of my flowers...

Ooh, and some sweet woodruff to keep buggies away, along the base of the roses...

All this in addition to my full vegetable and herb gardens, of course! ;)
